The Quiet Hero Nobody Sees: Maintenance & Fitters

Sprinklers don’t “just work” by luck.

They work because someone:

  • Made sure valves were open

  • Verified correct coverage and spacing

  • Kept heads free from paint, dust, and obstructions

  • Knew what to do when systems tripped or alarms went off

  • Followed NFPA standards and manufacturer data sheets

That “someone” is usually a fitter, inspector, or maintenance tech.

When they’re trained well, lives are protected long before a fire ever starts.
